Harvey & Sons [Lewes] Ltd.
This brewery has been making ale in Lewes for two centuries. The merchant John Harvey produced ales in the Georgian period on a site opposite the later brewery. The brewery moved in 1838 after John Harvey had built a new production plant. However it was former Wethered's brewer Henry Titlow-Barrett who supervised the construction of a tower brewery constructed in the Victorian Gothic style. This became known as the Cathedral of Lewes.
