This sign is widespread around the country and like the Queen's Head [see below] generally displays the arms of different queens. However, the sign on the left is a bit different and the illustrator has chosen to show three queens. This sign could be found on the road out of Winson Green heading towards Cape Hill. The second sign belongs to a pub in Birmingham's Highgate district. In the days of the old commercial travellers people used to joke that they stayed in the Queen's Arms if they were ever asked where they resided....
