  Bull's-Head-Inn

  Loudon-Arms

The Loudon Arms was once a rival to the Bull's Head, the only remaining pub in the village. It was originally called The Rat and Ferret but was de-licensed in 1922 and converted into the village shop and café. The building still stands and is called Loudon House. A bench in front of the property has a plaque which reads: 'This seat was given to Wilson in memory of our dear mother, Hannah Dow, village shopkeeper for 40 years.'
