"Arthur Watts fell from his bedroom window at 176, Balsall Heath Road, Balsall Heath. His injuries were reported to be "just a few bruises." Mr. Robert Savage, licensee of the nearby Wellington Inn. said: "He went straight out of the window, and never touched a thing until he hit the pavement. Then he got up and walked into the doorway of the shop below his home." Arthur had been playing "tag" with his seven-year-old sister, Linda. "I just tagged him, and he fell out of the window." Linda said. Arthur has been detained in Birmingham Accident Hospital for observation."
