"Last evening Emily Weston, aged two years, whose parents live in Berners Street, Lozells, was seriously burnt through the
upsetting of a lamp. The little girl and two other children were locked in the house, and the neighbours had considerable difficulty in rendering assistance.
It is feared that the child's injuries will prove fatal."
