Some history of the Brighton Hotel

The Brighton Hotel stood on the northern side of Brighton Road on the corner of Ladypool Road. The building was erected in the area where Balsall Heath, Highgate and Sparkhill collide.

The builder responsible for the Brighton Hotel was William Charley who also erected the Belgrave Hotel on Moseley Road.
