Some history on Hockley Hill in Birmingham in the County of Warwickshire
More information on Hockley Hill to follow. I probably created the page as I had a link to Hockley Hill from another page. When building the site it is easier to place links as they crop up rather than go back later on. I realise this is frustrating if you were specifically looking for information on Hockley Hill. There is information on Birmingham dotted around the website - click here for a suitable starting place.
"About 10.32 p.m. on Saturday a private saloon car going along Hockley Hill in the direction of the city knocked down and seriously
injured a cyclist, Harry Lane , of Summer Lane, Birmingham. The car did not stop. Lane is in Dudley Road Hospital. Any person who witnessed the
accident or can give any information respecting the car concerned is asked to communicate with Superintendent Buckley at Kenyon Street Police Station."
