Some history of Young & Co. of Wandsworth in London.
Although this firm was founded 1831 by Charles Young and Anthony Bainbridge, it is claimed that the Ram Brewery from where they produced ales dated back to the mid-16th century. The Ram Brewery was operated by the Draper family in the 17th century and was acquired by the Tritton family in following century. The business was registered in 1890 as Young & Co's Brewery Ltd.
