The hover-zoom feature shows an enlarged version on which you can move around and zoom in on any part of the photograph. You can download a large version with such detail [up to 1000 x 1300 pixels]. I can produce larger file sizes but there is little point in enlarging beer labels to such a degree as they were fairly-and-ready in terms of production and detail. However, a 1000 pixel width image is the perfect size for providing you with an image capable of being placed in a medium-sized picture frame.
This image is based on a 1960s beer label for Stone Trough Ale. The original was of poor quality so I have tidied it up and made some adjustments to the design to make it a little more appealing. The beer was named after the historic Halifax brewery that was owned by several parties before it was acquired by the Ramsden family in 1881. They also operated the Mixenden Brewery at Ovenden but moved production over after expanding the site at Commercial Street in 1887. Like Samuel Webster & Sons Ltd., the company expanded by taking over other local breweries, along with their tied houses. The brewery operated 117 licensed houses by 1964, the year in which they were acquired by Allied Breweries Ltd. The brewery at Halifax was subsequently closed.
Paypal is the preferred payment for this site - it is one of the safest online payment methods and allows you to pay with a number of cards. You DO NOT need a Paypal account to pay but perhaps you should consider setting one up - it's free and easy to do so. Why have your credit card details with lots of retailers when you could just have one account that is accepted by many websites. I DO NOT see your credit/debit card details.
Each image is priced on the website and each image has an "add to basket" button. When you press one of these buttons you will be directed to your shopping basket. You can remove items by updating the basket. If you wish to continue viewing images and/or buy further photos you can use the "continue shopping" button to return to the page you were browsing. Please ensure you are selecting the option in the drop-down menu for the image you require. You can always delete items from your basket before you checkout. Once you are finished browsing and shopping simply review your purchases and, if you're ready, checkout.
When you are ready to pay press the "proceed to checkout" button. Paypal account holders simply log in and pay with a click. Paypal generates an invoice for you and a copy is sent to the website when your images will be sent via e-mail with attachments. I like to do it this way as I feel I can provide that little extra customer service with a friendly message and some advice on how to safely store your images on your computer's hard drive or other media.
Your image will be sent to the e-mail address used to pay via Paypal. If you prefer to receive your image via another e-mail address please leave an instruction in the "message to merchant" box on your invoice.
All orders are processed as quickly as possible but the office is not a 24/7 operation. I may be on the road taking photographs, on a cycle ride or even down the pub! I do however like to keep everyone happy and, as such, I generally process orders on the same day. You are a valued customer and are treated as such.
When you buy a downloaded image from me you are able to use it in a wide range of personal projects and media.
