"At the Borough Police Court on Monday, December 21st, Richard Richards, a waggoner in the employ of Mr. Gartside, was charged with being so drunk near to the Armoury on Saturday, as to be incapable of taking charge of a team he was driving. He was found leaning on the shafts of his cart to the imminent danger of his own life. He was fined 10s. and costs."
