Some history of the Moilliet Arms Inn on Cranford Street at Smethwick in the county of Staffordshire.
More information on the Moilliet Arms Inn at Smethwick to follow. I probably created the page as I had a link to the Moilliet Arms Inn from another page. When building the site it is easier to place links as they crop up rather than go back later on. I realise this is frustrating if you were specifically looking for information on the Moilliet Arms Inn. There is information on Smethwick and Staffordshire dotted around the website - click here for a suitable starting place.

"Mr. H. A. Pearson, on Monday, held an inquest at the Moilliett Arms Inn, Smethwick, concerning the death of Elsie May Wright,
aged four months, daughter of Elizabeth Wright, now an inmate of Burntwood Lunatic Asylum, but who formerly resided with her parents in Cranford Street. The
grandmother of the deceased stated that the infant had been in a weak condition since birth. She, however, admitted that she fed the child with arrowroot, pearl
barley and milk. Dr. Motteram, who had made a post-mortem examination of the body, attributed death to improper feeding, and the jury returned a verdict
accordingly."
