"An inquest was held on Monday at the Worcester Infirmary, before R. T. Rea Esq on the body of Thomas Burrow, aged 37, an agricultural labourer in the employ of Mr. John Holmes, of Broadwas. The evidence went to show that deceased was engaged on the 6th inst. in shaking pears at Doddenham. He ascended into a tree, when one of the branches giving way, he fell to the ground, and received a compound fracture of both bones of the leg and was conveyed to the Worcester Infirmary, where he received every attention from the house surgeon, Dr. Inglis, but died on Saturday last, from mortification of the leg. Verdict "Accidental death."
